The University campus of University of Minnesota Medical Center, Fairview and University of Minnesota Amplatz Children's Hospital is located on the corner of Harvard Street Southeast and East River Parkway on the University of Minnesota East Bank. They are easily accessible from virtually any point in the metro area, via I-94 and I-35W.

From the North: Take I-35W south to Highway 280. Take the University Avenue exit and turn right at the second stoplight. Follow University Avenue to Huron Boulevard. Take a left onto Huron Boulevard and an immediate right onto Washington Avenue S.E. Turn left on Harvard Street. OR Take I-35W south to the Washington Avenue exit. Turn left onto Washington Avenue S.E. and follow to Harvard Street. Turn right onto Harvard Street. The hospital entrance, valet parking and emergency department entrance are 1½ blocks on your right. For the entrance and valet parking for clinics in the Phillips-Wangensteen Building, turn right onto Delaware Street. For the Patient/Visitor Parking Ramp, turn left onto Delaware Street.

From the South: Take I-35W north to the Third Street/U of M exit. Merge onto the East Bank exit, which becomes Washington Avenue S.E. Follow Washington Avenue S.E. and turn right onto Harvard Street. The hospital entrance, valet parking and emergency department entrance are 1½ blocks on your right. For the entrance and valet parking for clinics in the Phillips-Wangensteen Building, turn right onto Delaware Street. For the Patient/Visitor Parking Ramp, turn left onto Delaware Street.

From the East or West: Take I-94 (east or west) to the Huron Boulevard Exit. Follow Huron Boulevard to Fulton Street and take a left onto Fulton Street. Go three blocks and turn right onto Oak Street. Take a left at the stop light onto Delaware Street. The Patient/Visitor Parking Ramp will be on your right. For the entrance and valet parking for clinics in the Phillips-Wangensteen Building, continue on Delaware Street past Harvard Street. For the hospital entrance, valet parking and emergency department entrance, take a left onto Harvard Street.

Valet and Parking University Campus
Valet parking services are provided to patients and visitors at the same rate as the parking ramps from 6:45 a.m.–5:30 p.m. Monday–Friday at the Phillips-Wangensteen Building and from 5 a.m.–8 p.m. at the hospital’s main entrance. If you choose to park your own car, you may do so in the Patient/Visitor Parking Ramp, on Delaware Street between Harvard and Walnut streets. The ramp is connected to the hospital and clinics by a climate controlled, underground walkway. A motorized courtesy cart is available to transport patients through the tunnel from 6 a.m.–6 p.m.
Bring your parking ticket to the nurses’ station on your unit or the reception desk at your clinic to receive validation for reduced parking rates.
