For decades, children and families receiving care at University of Minnesota Amplatz Children’s Hospital benefited from the innovative thinking and exceptional care made possible by academic medicine. In this report, you’ll hear stories of how progressive thinking and technology at University of Minnesota Amplatz Children’s Hospital has improved mothers’ and children’s lives. But, such patient stories are only a few of many more to come. Each year, doctors at the children’s hospital participate in hundreds of research projects in cancer, cardiology, infectious diseases and other pediatric specialties.  We’re confident and excited that these current research and clinical trials will continue changing the face of modern medicine in the 21st century and beyond.
