Does or might your child have a serious infection? You can rely on our infectious disease and immunology experts at University of Minnesota Amplatz Children’s Hospital. They apply their knowledge to treat your child, whether your child has a serious infection or is at risk of being infected.

Many of our expert treatments are the result of extensive research at our Center for Infectious Diseases and Microbiology Translational Research. Our infectious-disease physicians also participate in the Collaborative Antiviral Study Group. This is a multi-institutional network that conducts clinical trials on therapies for viral infections.
