Do you love to read and discover new books? University of Minnesota Children’s Hospital, Fairview has its own library.

Location - University of Minnesota Children’s Hospital, Fairview, University campus, Room 5-112, 5th Floor, between the family lounge and the visitor elevators

Hours – 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays
You are welcome to enter the library on days and times that it is closed, but you will need a special code to unlock the door. Your nurse or Child-Family Life Specialist can give you the number.

Librarian - Nancy

Inside the library you will find many of your old favorites, as well as books from different ethnic backgrounds in a variety of languages. The library also has books that will help you while in the hospital that talk about the medical experience and the different feelings you may be having.

The librarian can visit you in your room, read you a story, or help you find a book while you are in the library. Every week our book cart traveling library will visit your room.
