Parking Rates
For reduced parking rates in the Blue surface lot or the Yellow or Red ramps, bring your parking ticket to the reception desk at the hospital or clinic to receive validation. No validation is required for price reduction in the Green ramp.

Construction alert:
Construction on westbound I-94 is causing heavy traffic back-ups. If you are coming to the medical center on I-94 from the East please allow:
• Up to half an hour additional travel time for any appointments during mid-day
• Up to an hour additional travel time during rush hour traffc
Riverside Avenue/25th Ave Exit to Westbound I-94 Closed May 7 through May 14, 2012
Construction Alert: The Riverside Avenue/25th Avenue ramp to enter westbound I-94 will be closed due to construction beginning at 5 a.m. on Monday, May 7. The ramp will reopen the morning of Monday, May 14. Please follow the posted detour signs.
Traffic to Shift on Washington Ave. Bridge in November
In mid-November, Washington Ave. Bridge traffic will move from the south to the north side. Any important notices regarding this change will be posted here. If you intend to use the bridge, please watch for more information.
Central Corridor Light Rail Construction Notes
Through June 2012, clinics on the east bank University of Minnesota campus will be affected by light rail construction. Most notably, the construction means changes to Washington Avenue, the Washington Avenue Bridge and the specialty clinics entrances at the Phillips-Wangensteen and Mayo buildlings.
Washington Avenue Closure
Beginning Monday, May 16, Washington Avenue, between Pleasant and Oak streets, on the East Bank of the University of Minnesota campus, will close for road construction to make way for the future Washington Avenue Light Rail Transit Mall. This closure may affect your journey to University of Minnesota Medical Center, Fairview and its affiliated clinics. During construction, please allow extra time when traveling on the East Bank. Be alert, slow down and watch out for workers, vehicles and equipment in the construction areas. The Central Corridor light rail line will run along Washington and University avenues to connect downtown Minneapolis and St. Paul beginning in 2014.
