Pediatric radiologists, intensive-care physicians, and pediatric emergency-medicine physicians staff the Children’s Imaging and Sedation Center at University of Minnesota Amplatz Children’s Hospital. They collaborate with nurses and technologists to provide imaging and sedation services to children and adolescents. In one location, we offer patients a range of radiology services including ultrasound, CT and MRI scans. We also provide sedation services for various imaging and non-imaging procedures. By providing services in one location, patients can have sedation, recover and receive discharge instructions in the same area.
