Child-Family LIfe Services
Each year, thousands of children visit our facilities and a donation of a toy, game, or arts and crafts supplies can go a long way towards brightening a child's stay in the hospital or a visit to a clinic. Child-Family Life Services has an ongoing need for donations of new, standard supplies. Please look at our wish lists for the supplies that we are most in need of. Adopt A Room
Adopt A Room was formed in September 2004 by a group of professionals with expertise and vision in business, medicine, government, education, fundraising, architecture, construction and more.  Adopt A Room's purpose is to create a win-win-win situation for hospitals, sponsors, and most importantly, sick children, by creating child-friendly, nurturing hospital room environments.  Learn how you can help make a difference!

Viking Children's Fund
The Viking Children's Fund awards 50% of all funds to the University of Minnesota Department of Pediatrics for the support of research into the major diseases and disorders of childhood. The remaining 50% is distributed to non-profit organizations that focus their efforts in the areas of education and family services supporting the well being of children in the Upper Midwest.  Learn how you can help make a difference!

Volunteer Services
Volunteer programs are designed for one simple, but very important purpose - to serve our patients and their families.  Volunteers share the philosophy that it is a privilege to be of service to others.  Fairview volunteers touch the lives of patients in many ways, and a variety of opportunities throughout the children's hospital are available.  Your preferences will be considered when determining your volunteer placement, but our priority is to place volunteers in areas with the greatest need.  Learn about the many ways to volunteer your time and talents!
