The Pediatric Risk of Mortality (PRISM) score - a national ranking - indicates a greater survival rate for children who receive care at University of Minnesota Amplatz Children’s Hospital’s PICU than those who receive care at other PICUs. Our PICU staff uses a team approach to care for children, and collaborates with various pediatric subspecialists and multidisciplinary experts.
