Providers at the Leo Fung Center for Congenital Adrenal Hyperplasia (CAH) and Disorders of Sex Development (DSD) at University of Minnesota Amplatz Children’s Hospital provide care for patients who have various sex-development disorders. Such rare and complex disorders require medical management from birth onward.
The Center has the distinction of being the first multidisciplinary clinic and research center in the country where specialty providers collaborate in a single clinic location to care for patients who have CAH and DSD. As a group, the Center’s providers discuss each patient’s condition and uniformly monitor the full range of care. The CAH and DSD team include pediatric endocrinologists, urologists, obstetricians and gynecologists, geneticists, nurses and psychologists.
