During the pre-operative period, our specialists and staff provide patient-focused, family-centered care to help patients and family members with anxiety and concerns. Pre-operative visits to the hospital are encouraged. Child-Family Life specialists provide age-appropriate opportunities for children to express their feelings about their illnesses and to understand what is happening to them through:
