The International Adoption Medicine Program is the first of its kind in the United States providing for the health needs of children adopted internationally.
Since 1986, we have been caring for children from countries all over the world, including Brazil, Bulgaria, Chile, China, Columbia, El Salvador, Ethiopia, Guatemala, Haiti, Honduras, India, Jamaica, Kazakhstan, Korea, Latvia, Lithuania, Mexico, Morocco, Nepal, Paraguay, Peru, Philippines, Romania, Russia, Ukraine and Vietnam.
Through our clinical services, our team offers medical evaluations before adoption, initial health screens after adoption and follow-up care for children with special physical, developmental and social-emotional needs associated with international adoption. Our staff is uniquely qualified to meet the needs of children who are new to this country.
