The adolescent mental health inpatient program benefts from the presence of psychiatrists and residents from the University of Minnesota Department of Psychiatry. They have a prominent role in the emergency department, other mental health inpatient units, and within the outpatient clinics on the Riverside campus of University of Minnesota Children’s Hospital, Fairview. The teaching teams share their knowledge and skills with hospital personnel, medical students and other physicians, and work with specialized client populations to meet their distinct care needs.
