Teenagers have special needs, and the Adolescent Health program at University of Minnesota Children’s Hospital, Fairview is designed to meet these needs. Our mission is to promote the psychological and physical well-being of young people through a collaborative, interdisciplinary approach to adolescent care.
Because adolescence can be a challenging journey, our providers address social, emotional and behavioral health. We also offer parent education and support programs and are active in research that helps us understand and treat a wide variety of challenges youth encounter.
We also provide services at the STAR Center for Eating Disorders where we work with youth struggling with anorexia nervosa and bulimia nervosa.
