Adolescent Crisis Lodging, Assessment and Stabilization Services provides a safe and supportive place for youths 12 to 18 to identify and meet goals for dealing with the crisis situation at hand. Staf helps the family decide the time frame recommended to determine whether it is time for the client to move on. We also help coordinate community services that may be recommended for the client and family after discharge.

A structured program

To respond to the range of clinical issues and levels of functioning presented by clients, several levels of programming are ofered. Troughout the day and evening a number of group activities are held. Te specifc content of each therapy schedule may vary somewhat. However, the focus is to stabilize functional level. A combination of psycho-educational, process and activity-based groups are used. Parents are an important part of this program and are expected to participate in family meetings.
