Seven-year-old Dawson Rude is finally home, ready to be a little boy again. He has been struggling for his life since he was born with only one kidney, which wasn’t working. At age two, his mother, Tesa, gave him one of her kidneys, but the anti-rejection medicines, which lowered his body’s immune system, allowed post-transplant lymphoma disease to develop in his stomach.
