2013 Turtle Derby is headed this way
What is the Turtle Derby?
The University of Minnesota Amplatz Children’s Hospital Turtle Derby is an annual fundraising event that provides many of the extras that make our children's hospital a healing place with a heart. The race will take place on the West Bank in front of University of Minnesota Amplatz Children’s Hospital.
Families can cheer at the sideline of the turtle races (yes, actual turtles!), play games, indulge in a turtle sundae and much more. Your turtle could be the Grandest Turtle of All in 2013— our 27th year for this annual summer celebration and fundraiser. The event is open to the public.
